I grew up in a generation
That dished out slave licks
Never for funny ha-ha
Some of the youth of today
Have no clue what that means
Luxuries are taken away
In the place of real punishment
We wonder why they are so unruly
Back then we knew what time it was
But that same respect is now just a
Of what it used to be
